2 Am and she calls me cause I'm still awake Can you help me unravel my latest mistake I don't love him and winter just wasn't my season. Yea we walk through the doors so accusing their eyes Like they have any right at all to criticize Hypocrites you're all here for the very same reason. Cause you can't jump the track We're like cars on a cable and life's like an hourglass glued to the table, No one can find the rewind button girl So just cradle your head in your hands. And breathe, just breathe, whoa breathe just breathe May he turned 21 on the base of Fort Bliss Just today he sat down to the flask in his fist Ain't been sober since maybe October of last year Here in town you can tell he's been down for while But my God it's so beautiful when the boy smiles Wanna hold him but maybe I'll just sing about it Cause you can't jump the track We're like cars on a cable And life's like an hourglass glued to the table, No one can find the rewind button boys so cradle your head in your hands And breathe, just breathe, whoa breath just breathe There's a light at the end of this tunnel you shout cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out And these mistakes you've made You'll just make them again if you'll only try turnin' around 2Am and I'm still awake writing this song If i get it all down on paper it's no lonmger inside of me threaten' the life it belongs to. And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd Cause these words are my diary screamin' out aloud And I know that you'll use them however you want to. But you can't jump the track We're like cars on a cable And life's like an hourglass glued to the table, No one can find the rewind button now Sing it if you understand...yeah breath Just breathe, breathe

do you want parenting advice from her???
I received this email late last night from my company's headquarters in nashville...
"Hey team, Over the next day or so an announcement will be made about the Spears’ family that will thrust them back into the media spotlight. The announcement is likely to cause another media frenzy in regards to Lynne Spears’ memoir. The Lynne Spear’s memoir Pop Culture Mom originally scheduled for release in May 2008 has been delayed indefinitely. Please direct all inquiries about Lynne Spears, Thomas Nelson’s involvement with her, and the memoir to Lindsey . Lindsey can be reached at work at ***-***-****. As important members of the Thomas Nelson team, I wanted to make sure you were in the loop and not caught off guard. As we receive more information, we will keep you updated. "
the announcement you ask? the fact the Jamie Lynn Spears, who is 16, is pregnant... yea I dont think that good christian families want parenting advice from the woman that raised britney spears and her now knocked up 16yr old sister.

My Rendezvous with Nikki Sixx
So we get to the airport at butt-crack am last weekend to go to Phoenix for about 24 hours. Cratin's company is based there and they have one kickin' Christmas party. After we sat down to enjoy what was sure to be another crappy travel adventure when some guys walks over. I saw this tall, crazy-haired guy with leftover eyeliner on and whispered to Cratin, 'here comes a "rock star."" Unbeknownst to me, it was! Nikki Sixx walked over to our terminal and sat down. (we were certain it was him after checking his tats- oh, and my iPhone.)So, what do we do? We freak out. We're trying to get pictures of him on my iPhone from like 20 feet away. Under the armpit, acting like we are just checking our voicemail. Cratin told me about him dying and coming back alive and writing a book. All things I had forgotten about him. I bet other people thought we were stalkers or something. We didn't want to draw a lot of attention to him because frankly he looked about as happy to be there that early as we were. We also wanted to be the only ones to get a picture. Ha. He was listening to his iPhone and looking down and unfortunately they called first class to board. Of course he went on the plane (unintelligent move I thought.) Cratin thought that was the end of our fascinating adventure with him but I was freakin' determined to get a really good picture to prove to my friends that I have an exciting life!I got my iPhone all ready on the Skybridge and walked right up to him and asked for a picture. He hesitated a little bit said yes, adding "I don't look very good." What? Please! You sell out stadiums, I doubt anyone really cares what you look like.He noticed my iPhone and asked if I liked it and I said yes asking if he liked his. He said it was awesome, or something, honestly I can't remember because I said "yeah, it's like an addiction." WHAT? What the heck did I just say to him? Wasn't he the guy Cratin had JUST finished telling me about- addiction, death, life, bad idea...?!?!? I was so appalled at what I'd said I don't even think I thanked him. Cratin, of course, thought that was one of the funniest things he'd ever heard so he called all his friends to tell them. :) Can't blame him. The flight attendant asked who he was and we told him. Bad idea because a few minutes later the PILOT got on and said "...the flight attendants will be by to serve your beverage of choice to Kick Start Your Heart." Oh yeah... we checked to see if he'd heard it but he made no indication to us. As we left the airport he was on his phone again talking to someone about how no one recognized him so I waited a few minutes before touching his shoulder and whispered "thanks for the picture." He was so dang nice about it too. I guess I'll be listening to more Motley Crue for a while...(P.S. I'm not REALLY listening to that album, at least not right this second.)

this might distract me till october 09

so I am thinking about painting my apartment. I need a change and the plain, standard off white apartment walls are closing in, and something has to change, or I might go crazy...
so, since I cant move, perhaps I will paint and make it a new space.
paint is cheap, and since I have a very small space, I could prob get it done in less than a weekend.
I like this options... I will have to see what the rules are...
I read this statement from domino online and think its good advice for me...
"For a wee, windowless room like this one, choose paints in pearly or glossy finishes. They reflect light and make even the most miniscule spot feel brighter and more spacious."
thats what i need, brighter and more spacious
traped in house
the fact that the village will charge me MORE to break my lease the closer to the end of my lease, than now.
so i have to live in my apartment till october of NEXT year... I hope i can make it... i shouldnt have signed another lease there...
any tips for moving sooner????
or tips on how do distract me from the ever present thought of "i hate this tiny box... i want to move... its dark in here... ect"
perhaps I should paint, or clean, or move things around.. and buy some lamps perhaps...

its too loud bro
how do you say to a fellow cubbite in a office of 6, in a polite manner...
dude turn your shitty music down
i for one don't want to hear his high school choir cd, WHILE he sings out loud as well.
this is an office, not a show
and not only is it on, and he is singing, and its bad but did i mention that its freaking loud
i can barley hear my music in my headphones through the computer
i could turn mine up i suppose, but that would cause hearing damage, and that's not fair...
part of the problem is that the others seem to be amused by this... his music and singing that is, so i suppose he doesn't think it is disturbing others...
typical jesus freak... not really thinking of others
oh and its a church coir, not school
this job is good for me
this job is good for me
i need to be here for a while
i need to be here for a while
this job is definatly a challange.... bring it on

heard it on NPR
I was driving to lunch and heard this author talk about his new book on NPR... sounds facinating, especially considering my current occupation.
It is called "Crazy for God: How I Grew Up as One of the Elect, Helped Found the Religious Right, and Lived to Take All (or Almost All) of It Back"

hot lanta
so last weekend i went to atlanta for work. I arrived thurs and worked fri and sat. sun i got up really early and went to the airport, rented a car and went on a wirlwind tour of atlanta. i saw some really amazing things and learded alot about one of the great southern cities. the one dissapointing thing i found out, is that atlanta as a city has a terrible habit of tearing dorn the old to build the new. so there are not many historic sites, which is what i like to see. however i did see some, including oakland cemetary, margret mitchell's house, the original krispy kreme and MLK's church and tomb. oh and the cylcorama... here is a map of what i saw, and a link to the photos.
