my own snow day

so it was cold and really rainy all day. I dindnt have to work and got to hang with the puppies all day! it was amazing. since i thought this kind of day was in my future, yesterday i went to the grocery to stock up on thing to make. one of the culinary adventures i decided to tackle was a roast chicken. there are no photos of this cause it was too pretty and tasty to pose for a photo. i have to say is was an incredible success. and for dessert i for the second time, i made fried candy bars. state fair take that.



i dont need your freakin one month limit on these fries treats. thanks to nigella lawson, i now have the tools. and shes british! who would have thought that a british chef would have given the skills to break free of the ocotber only cruelness of fair treats... i wonder if she can do a corn dog?

I feel a love for american professional soccer coming on

hes coming to america... la to be exact...


not since that really cute boy in high school (i cant seem to recall his name) have i been more interested in watching soccer. i guess i am just a sucker for hot boys playing sports...

new addition to the home

so thanks to a growing frustration with the ipod with the sad face, and a good deal from time warner, and the ability to be billed for the intsalation, this little girl is getting internet at her house. be prepared for the blogs to get increasinly more interesting and redicouls...

i dont do resolutions

but i am about makin plans.
first up a new checking/ savings combo to start saving money (need a new car and some vacations)
second, one healthy choice a day today, i see a salad in my lunch future
and third i need to make something soon, but that requires more purchases (which goes against plan #1) and the house is a wreck... perhaps i should focus the energy on that...
