so we walked around looking for something we "needed" and found this

not sure what a donald duck has to do with snack cakes but it looked interesting. we didnt buy it.
miles thought about a granola bar...

but we didnt buy that either. in the land of a hazy 7-11 all we walked out with were more cigarettes. so we went back to the house cause seth and eric were waiting for their cheesecake bites and we had been gone for over an hour. so we enjoyed the bites, watched a little more sex and the city and decided that going to walmart sounded like a fun idea. so off we went to walmart. when we arrived we realized that we were hungry and cheeseburgers and nuggets sounded amazing...

and they were! we ate every bite almost!

i also thought i needed an ice cream cone...

but i got it and it started to melt. word to the wise, always get your cone AFTER you eat your food!
so then we took off into the magical land of walmart. you can find all sorts of great things there! by the time we went through the store I had an entire basket of things i didnt need and had been there for several hours. waiting in line, there were only like 3 lanes open and 57 people wanting to check out so i had some time to kill, i took inventory of my basket and weeded out all but the most necessary frivolous purchases...

a cute little notebook ( i am totally addicted to notebooks!)
some MORE fabric, some for tomatoes and some for the cute apron pattern i bought on my last nonsense trip to walmart
a root beer (i was quite parched after all the walking)
a yard stick (so i can start on the new years skirt)
some gorilla glue (to fix the chair i sew on)
hairspray
2 picture frames (to frame the design for my next tattoo)
2 bottle pour things for my dish soap
not bad for a random trip. I find the key to random shopping trips is to put yourself on some sort of limit. mine was $5. I couldnt buy anything that cost more than $5, which is why the canvas basket didnt come home with me. it was $8.
needless to say it was a GREAT day. miles and i sure do know how to have fun.
